About Lightmist Coffee

Lightmist Coffee is a small, family-run coffee project based in Taipei, focused on curating clean, modern light-roast coffees from outstanding independent roasters around the world.

Our story

Lightmist Coffee began with Andrew’s years in the San Francisco specialty coffee community.

In that culture, full of generous, deeply knowledgeable people who shared great roasters, compared techniques, and organized thoughtful group buys, he discovered coffees that stood out not because they were rare, but because they were beautifully roasted: clean, expressive, and modern.

When Andrew and his family, his wife Sherry, their two boys, and their dog, relocated to Taipei, he missed that sense of discovery and the access to these quietly exceptional coffees. Lightmist became his way of bringing that spirit here, now as a small family project between him and Sherry.

Lightmist curates small-batch coffees from top independent roasters around the world.

The focus is on clarity, balance, and subtle, light-roast expression, the kind of roasting style where interpretation and precision bring out more nuance than what’s typically available locally, even when the same greens are used. Everything is imported sealed and offered in very limited quantities.

New arrivals, tasting notes, and release updates are shared through IG Stories.

Lightmist isn’t just a storefront. It’s a small community for people who appreciate clean, modern coffee and enjoy discovering something special together.

關於微嵐咖啡

Lightmist Coffee（微嵐咖啡）是一個以台北為基地的小型家庭咖啡計畫， 專注於精選世界各地獨立烘焙商的現代淺焙作品。

Lightmist Coffee（微嵐咖啡）源於 Andrew 在舊金山精品咖啡圈的那段時光。

在那裡，他接觸到一群熱心又懂咖啡的人，大家會分享優秀烘焙師的作品、交流手法、討論風味，也常常一起發起團購。那些咖啡之所以難忘，不是因為「稀有」，而是烘焙師的詮釋讓它更乾淨、更現代、層次更清晰。

後來 Andrew 與太太 Sherry、兩個孩子和家裡的可愛狗狗搬到台北，他非常懷念那份探索與分享的氛圍。Lightmist 就在這樣的背景下誕生，成為夫妻倆一起經營的小型計畫。

Lightmist 專注於精選世界各地獨立烘焙商的小批次作品。

我們偏好乾淨、平衡、細緻的現代淺焙風格，這類詮釋在台灣相對少見，即使使用相同生豆，經過不同烘焙師的理解與手法，成品的層次仍會有明顯差異。所有咖啡皆以原裝密封包裝進口，並以限量方式販售。

新品、風味分享與上架資訊會優先在 IG 限時動態公布。

Lightmist 不只是販售咖啡，而是一個喜歡乾淨、現代風味、願意一起探索精緻作品的小型咖啡社群。
